How long you been doing music?
Technically since 4th grade. I use to play the Tenor Saxophone and the recorder . I started writing raps and recording music in high school around the age of 16
Summarize your upbringing and general lifestyle ?
Shittt umm very interesting. I would say I was the black sheep of my family, the one who dared to venture out of the conventional and challenged the status quo. My parents did the best they could but was definitely a challenging up-bringing coming from the projects, My mother kicked me out at the age of 16. Those early experiences in the streets and using my peer group and wits to navigate the unknown definitely built up a beast. My lifestyle ? I’ll keep it concise and say nowadays if it ain’t making me money or adding value to my life I’m not paying mine to it.
How’d you get into anime?
Damm this always stumps me . I would say it was Dragon Ball Z but I remember When I was like 5 years old we had them old cable vision box’s and one of my dads associates “modded” it and we had cable with all the channels and when he powered it on, one of the first few channels he put to test to see if it worked was HBO. They were showing an Anime movie I believe was called “X” or something but I remember these two guys going blow for blow fighting in the sky maybe by a bridge?? If there’s anyone who remotely knows what I’m talking about please let me know what that Anime is accurately called haha !
How’d you come up with idea to create Trapime music?
I was on a music Tour with my buddy @Iodontplay back in like early 2016 and he says he created his own genre of music called “Neil Music” and it was referring to his Dj that made is music. It was the first time I ever heard of someone saying like “Imma just create my own lane of music “. So I pondered on tour like I could do that too. I’m from the hood and I’m a huge nerd and watched anime my whole life so it kinda manifested as “Anuwae” like “A new wave” of music and sounds kinda Japanese but then the thought of “ Trapime “ came to mind an I instantly knew this was the right fit for the style and lifestyle I presented. One of those gut feelings . I looked up Trapime on google to see if anyone had it and at first I didn’t see any history of it but then at some point I found out about Detox The Kid an how he came up with Trapime aswell . So I’m like let me get a hold of this dude. Contacted his then manager , spoke to Detox briefly then booked a trip down to North Carolina at some point an stayed with him out there for like a couple weeks. Did a bunch of songs and the rest was history.
What anime characters are most comparable to your personality?
Most definitely your typical shonnen Character protagonists but I relate to Deku a lot from “My Hero Academia” . He’s emotional , smart , a leader , strong charismatic and good under pressure. I subscribe to these traits.
What’s something you want people to know about you?
Despite not having much music out and having a lot of streams or “views” on my art I literally am known around my town and other cites an I’ve got fans who’ve I’ve impacted positively in ways that Ive never imagined and I thank you guys sincerely from the bottom of my heart. I’ve been building an ecosystem and an amazing infrastructure of support and contacts for when I am ready to allocate and dedicate time to creating projects and music, it certainly will hit different . We playing chess not checkers 💯.

Piffmarti, Xxxtentacion, Vyse o79 , Sheem Kluaf, and currently David Branch

Where do you see Trapime in the next few years?
With my next few plays I’m finna make, locking in with my guys Detox the kid and Hunit Stackz I would like to say 2-3years you will definitely be amazed.
